NearFinder UK Postcodes is a free directory of the live postcodes of England, Scotland and Wales. Every postcode is listed with its sector, district and area, the place, local authority, region, ward and parliamentary constituency it falls in, and its location on the map.

Where our postcodes come from

ONS Postcode Directory (Office for National Statistics, quarterly): every postcode with its coordinates, local authority, region, ward and constituency. Open Government Licence v3.0.
OS Open Names (Ordnance Survey, quarterly): the populated place, district and county each postcode belongs to. Open Government Licence v3.0.

How accurate is the data?

Postcodes are created and terminated every month; this directory follows the quarterly ONS edition and lists live postcodes only. Northern Ireland (BT) postcodes are published under a separate licence and are not included. The place names come from Ordnance Survey and may differ from the Royal Mail post town. For important deliveries, confirm the postcode with Royal Mail or your courier.
